Join us for the 9th Annual Mental Health Advocacy Day on January 29, 2024. The morning agenda includes a legislative panel discussion moderated by Commissioner Emily Hawes and a second panel discussion moderated by Robin Shabazz with community leaders. The afternoon features opportunities for people to share their experiences and stories of hope and recovery. There are also opportunities to provide testimony at key legislative committees during the week. ASL Interpreters Available Upon Request!

NOMINATE AN UNSUNG HERO – MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY AWARD: We want your help in shining a light on Vermont’s unsung heroes. Please help us identify individuals whose voice or actions have benefited individuals experiencing mental health conditions, but whose accomplishments have never been fully acknowledged. This is an opportunity to express appreciation for their contributions and recognize them as valued members of the mental health community. The nominee may be a peer, family member, service provider, active community member, or an advocate. Learn more….
TESTIMONY: Do you want to share testimony between Jan. 31-Feb. 3 with House or Senate Committees? Click here to sign up. Please note that testimony is at the discretion of the Committee Chairs.
