Creating Trauma Informed Communities

This valuable set of trainings will focus on the following:

1. The impact of early neglect and trauma on a child’s development
2. Information from attachment theory, family systems approaches, clinical practice, and research on resiliency
3. Identify key elements involved in creating environments in which children can thrive despite adversity
4. Examples and demonstration of strategies that promote social and emotional development

Initial Training: October 27th 6:00-9:00pm

3, 2 hour following up trainings: November 3rd, 10th, and 17th 6:00-8:00pm
