The Knights of Columbus (KofC), Council 297, presented a check f or $1,062.93 to NCSS’ Kid’s Camp Rainbow.
This very generous donation is the result of their Drive for People with Intellectual Disabilities, also known locally as the Tootsie Roll Drive, to benefit children with special needs. Camp Rainbow creates an exciting summer camp experience for children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disability.
KofC Council 297 Trustee Bill Bressette stated, “Our Council is very proud to contribute and be part of this worthy cause. We are told of the fun and many smiles on the children that attend Camp Rainbow and that is so gratifying to hear. The staff at Camp Rainbow do such an excellent job of providing so much fun and enjoyment for the children.” Read more…
